# Ethics of using lab machines

## Rescheduling or cancelling

1. You must **cancel** or **reschedule** your booking if your timing has changed. **It is best to make changes way ahead before your booking schedule.**
2. You must inform the system operator at [scheduling-raman@apcresearch.org ](mailto:scheduling-raman@apcresearch.org)if you are unable to make changes via the Calendly mailing.

## Safety

1. You must follow each room's safety regulation to ensure sustainability of the machine. Failure to comply may result in being reported to the respective user manager and suspended user access to Raman Spectroscopy.
